- I was mildly allergic to macadamia nuts
- I took two dance classes every Thursday
- I took Spirit Days at school seriously
- I wore high-tops and flare jeans
- I would sing A*Teens and Dream Street music during recess
- I took recess for granted, too
- I made friends a lot more easily
- I didn't care about how I looked

Maybe Peter Pan had a point. It's better not to grow up, after all.
