Ian Crawford is leaving The Cab.
Last summer, I went to a concert featuring The Hush Sound. The Cab, Steel Train, and The Morning Light came along for the ride to open for them. The concert was amazing, and an experience I'll never forget. I went with my best friends and bought a yellow The Hush Sound t-shirt (it has an elephant on it!).
I knew about Steel Train, but I only knew one song by The Cab. After that, I started listening to them more. That one concert impacted my whole opinion on The Cab.
I wasn't a fan at first because the band was so...pop. You know? But I loved it just the same.
At the end of the concert, my friends and I were waiting for our friend Haley's parents (they drove us) when Ian Crawford walked over. He gave all of us high-fives, and then took a picture with us. The picture's on my old cell phone. I'll post it up as soon as I figure out how.
Ian Crawford was my favorite member of The Cab (sorry guys), and he's now out of the band. His replacement (harsh word, i know. But the rest of The Cab still loves Ian, right?) is Bryan Dawson, so he should be pretty good. I mean, to live up to Ian at least.
Bye, Ian. You'll be missed. I'll look out for your music with whatever direction you'll be headed in. Good luck to you, and to The Cab.
