sitting in parks with five pubescent males who sing the naruto theme song;;

On Sunday I had a near death experience.

We were all at my old elementary school, sitting on the roof of the office building and eating chips and discussing what we should probably film for Amasian Productions and stuff, right? And so then these little kids ride by on their electric scooters, with their dad following close behind them on his roller blades (we were giggling). Then the dad turns and looks up at us and says,

"Hey! Get down from there. I don't want my kids getting hurt."

So we all scramble to get down, all of us grabbing various snack foods and coolers (I held the Doritos and Lays) and trying to get down in different ways. One guy jumped. Two others climbed, and the only other girl climbed too. That left me. I had bags of chips in one hand, my iPod and my cell phone in my other. I went to the "safer" route, which consisted of climbing down.

So apparently I have short legs (they look long, but that's cause I'm a short person).

So while I was gripping onto the roof for dear life, my feet dangling just a foot above the cement wall, I thought to myself,

"Maybe I can make it."

So I stretched my foot down, then slid and fell. Or, really, just fell. Hard. I hit the back of my head on the cement wall, then fell straight onto my back on the concrete. I couldn't move. The Dorito dust puddled out, making it look like blood.

My friends didn't really notice until I croaked a faint,

"Help..?"

They ran over and helped me up. I had a cool red marking on my back, but it's gone now. It's hard to bend over, and my head is aching, but other than that, I'm fine.

At least I didn't die, right?
