Remember Lindsay? From the cruise and the fashion show and all that? Yeah, well her family and my family went to this fancy-ass hotel (except she stayed in a freaking 2-bedroom suite and I was in a one-bed little room with my whole family, wtf?) along with my dad's work friends (and their 3-year-old daughter, Kaylin) and Lindsay's friend Erin's family and this OTHER family of whom I cannot remember the children's names.
Anywho, my mom started driving me and my younger brother to San Diego (more specific-er city, not naming) on Friday. We stopped at In N Out like usual. It was a good day. We hit traffic about 20 minutes from the specific town we were going to. The whole ride was 3 hours long.
When we got to the hotel, my mom had Beni and I linger in the hallways because she'd told the check-in people we were little children so we'd get free cookies and toy monkeys and stuff. We got to our room, ate the cookies and M&Ms and gummy bears
Then we walked all the way to Lindsay's family's little hotel residence housing complex. We watched Pirates 3 and ate pizza while the parents bonded over wine and cheese in the fancy hotel restaurant. Then we went back to the main hotel to eat dessert (creme brulee & chocolate mouse = yum. mint thingy = no) and play video games in the arcade. We mostly ended up playing pool and foosball, though.
Saturday (the fourth of July) was most eventful. We woke up and ate breakfast with Kaylin&family. Kaylin spent the breakfast entertaining herself by coughing on me, giggling as she put her blankie on my head, and trying to stick Froot Loops to my eyelids. I had waffles, so it was all good :)
My dad and older brother came in the middle of breakfast and ate at the buffet.
Later, we went back to Lindsay's & Erin's families' room and ate barbecue while we watched Rush Hour 3. After watching and eating, we all stood on the balcony with the dads and watched as two bunnies ate grass. I named one Roberto, and the other Alfredo. We all threw grapes at Alfredo to see if he'd eat them. Lindsay scared him off.
Then, Lindsay and Erin and I made up Tortillo, the invisible other bunny. And we became ALFREDO AND ROBERTO AND TORTILLO because we are that cool. We even made last names for them. I was Alfredo Sunflowerpaws (I introduced myself as that at the hotel concert/party, haha), Lindsay was Tortillo Gorgonzola, and Erin was just ROBERTO (use tons of accent, please).
We got balloon hats shaped like bunny ears, and we got our faces painted with black noses and whiskers. Then we danced to the band and posed for pictures and did the moon walk and blablabla.
Then the FIREWORKS. Oh my god. They were so cool, and Kaylin was sitting on my lap because she didn't want to sit with her family, haha. And everyone was like, "WHOAAAA!" after everything, which made her say, "Why do they keep saying whoa?" It was so cute xD
Then after the fireworks show, Erin, Lindsay, and I decided that when we turn 50 we will create a band called The Bunnies. It was intense. And then we got lost in the hotel and almost walked through the kitchen, haha.
We ate dessert with Beni after that - chocolate cake and root beer (or, in Lindsay's case, a sippy cup of water. HA). Then Lindsay went all, "So, do you still talk to Sam?" and I was totally chill with my amazing answer of, "Em. ERm. Uh. Sure." Cause I'm so good at talking to Sam
After that we went to the arcade again and did the same thing.
The next day, we ate breakfast with Kaylin&family again. Then we packed. Then we watched tennis (RODDICK SHOULD'VE WON!). Then we left. Then my mom started yelling. Then my iPod ran out. Then I tried sleeping, but my mom decided to teach me to drive ON THE FREEWAY. Then we got home and I took a nap and when I woke up I had a text from Sarina saying, "Heyyyyyyyyyyyy :D" and a text from Robin saying "Part? D:<" which meant he wanted me to record myself singing Part of Your World so he could put it on YouTube and get credit for himself.
And you're all updated now, so WOO!
