daddy's little girl;;

MUSIC & TEENAGE LIFE:
My dad and I started playing guitar at roughly the same age. We were both in a band as the guitarists at roughly the same age (he started his before me). He had seen everyone in concert: Sex Pistols, Bruce Springsteen, Lou Reed, etc. I've only seen Panic at the Disco, The Hush Sound, Smashing Pumpkins, Steel Train, The Cab, Jacks Mannequin, Motion City Soundtrack, The Morning Light, Phantom Planet, and like The Eagles when I was 12. He had band t-shirts for EVERYONE - the legit, non-Old Navy ones, too. I only have 2 Panic at the Disco shirts, a The Beatles shirt, a Smashing Pumpkins shirt, a Rolling Stones shirt, and a The Hush Sound shirt. He had posters covering all of his walls. Only one wall of mine is partially-covered. His first guitar was freaking amazing. My first guitar was a crappy, Costco-status guitar.

CAREERS:
My dad's first job was as a paperboy. He was younger than me and got paid. I shelve books at the library for free. Although he only applied to 2 schools and decided to go to the worse one, he ended up as a computer guy in the Air Force, was accepted into the CIA, and is now a patent lawyer at a high-class law firm. I'm still in high school. I probably won't even be a secretary.

CARS:
My dad's first car was a Thunderbird. I can't drive yet.

SCHOOL:
My dad was at the top of his class, even in honors classes. I'm in-between in all of my honors classes, but at the top of my regular classes.

SPORTS:
My dad is nonathletic but can hold his own when running. I'm the same.

IN ALL:
I'll never be as good as my dad ):
