I went on a cruise this weekend, so right now I'm swaying cause I'm not used to the stillness of dry land. We (my family and I) went on the 3-day Carnival cruise to Ensenada, Mexico. We went with my friends Matt and Lindsay (and their families) for my mom's 50th birthday party.
Basically, I swam on Saturday, played at the arcade until about 2 AM, and hung out with the other young-teens at Circle C, the "camp" thing there. It was fun. There were tons of video games, and I hung out with Beni (my brother), Matt, Lindsay, and this guy "Wolverine" for the majority of the time. By the end, Asia joined us (person, not place). We played elevator tag a lot.
Oh, and we did karaoke last night and Matt was beating everyone before I started playing. So I played against him and we tied. Then I beat him...twice. ANDDDDDD the best dessert ever was the warm chocolate melting cake. I will somehow get that dessert again. Somehow. I don't know. I just will.
I hung out with "Wolverine" a lot (at the arcade mostly--WE ALMOST BEAT THE LAST BOSS in HOUSE OF THE DEAD!!!) and eventually started liking him. Baaaaad news. He was a year younger than me but slightly taller and really nice. Lindsay thought he was cute, too. I promised myself that at midnight on the last day, I'd tell him. I figured that I had nothing to lose and that I'd never see him again anyway.
Last night at midnight, I snuck into the arcade past my mom's curfew (it was....12:20?) to hang out with "Wolverine", his friend [who i'm not naming], and Asia. We (minus his friend) started playing 20 questions so I could ask him certain questions without really asking them (do you have a gf/bf? etc).
Then my mom started calling me cause she was pissed that I'd left, so I kinda sorta went, "Hey, "Wolverine", I gotta talk to you." He basically just sat there and went, "Yeah?" until I told him. Then I ran away to my cabin and fell totally weird and sick.
Cause, I mean, I've never done that before. Told a guy I liked him, I mean.
So later, I told my mom I wasn't feeling good and went back up to the arcade. "Wolverine" was there with one of our friends from Circle C. I'm not sure if they'd noticed me at first, cause I started playing Crazy Taxi. When I switched games, they pounced on me to freak me out. Apparently, "Wolverine" wasn't freaked out by me.
Then my mom showed up and said, "YOU HAVE 20 MINUTES."
So I basically started playing air hockey with "Wolverine" and I beat him. Then we played some racing games and my mom told me I had 20 minutes AGAIN. So when I finally had to leave, "Wolverine" turned to me and was like, "Uh, I need your number."
Our friend (STILL NOT NAMING HIM) was like, "HAHAAHAH YOU LIIIKE HER" but "Wolverine" was quick to say he didn't; he just needed my number. So we exchanged numbers and email addresses and yeahhhhhhh.
Now I feel kinda sad. Don't know why.
