Start With Goodbye

Sounds odd, huh? Starting my blog off with goodbye. But it's all for the best. I'm just saying goodbye to friends, memories, crazy bitches, tennis camp, and summer 08. Which started off with quite a bang.

Let's see: Kiely doesn't like Zander anymore--okay, I actually don't know that--Nicole and Justin are together (FINALLY!), Annika and Kevin are together (again, FINALLY!), Jessica broke up with Daniel via text on his birthday....and then there's me. Tessa. Everyone's best friend. The one who isn't in the drama, isn't anyone's crush, isn't crushing on anybody.

This is the part where you go "aww." *holds up cue card*

Okay, yeah, I do like someone. Who? I'm not telling. Why would I? And I'm not just talking about Brendon Urie, Penn Badgley, or Milo Ventimiglia.

But, anyways, back to goodbye. In the beginning of summer, I became hooked on GCY--a website run by my now obff, Jackie. I thought it was a little weird, but it was really fun. I made a ton of friends, got into fights (online. virtual. same dif), and finally, finally had a taste of drama. And my tongue still salivates over that unique flavor.

But real life drama is tough. You're always walking on eggshells and waiting for the explosion. And sometimes the gunshots. The people who gang up on you? Yeah, that's when drama goes bad.

Back to goodbye. I hate saying goodbye. But summer is passing. School is starting. Memories are fading. And it's time to say goodbye. Goodbye to my summer friends, hello to high school.
